We used this place for a Christening party. It was ideal. Staff were fantastic...the place was big and clean with a separate room for your buffet. It is quite central... read more too at the bottom of the M62,Queens Drive,Edge Lane Drive junction so is easy for everyone to get to. The bar prices are very reasonable too. I would highly re

We attended this place for a retirement doo, with a live band and disco. The staff were friendly, the food provided was lovely and plentiful, and the beer is cheap!... read more The posters suggested there was a massive selection of entertainment coming up, and I wouldn't hesitate to go back. What I would say, is that the band and disco were loud, so if you want a quiet chat, go in a back room or

My Daughter and Son-in-law had booked and paid £50 deposit for a christening but as the Government rules changed they obviously needed to cancel as 6 per table with no... read more mixing and no standing would not be suitable for a family gathering.
Unfortunately the Naval Club suggested that the party could still go ahead with a pub style 6 per table. We do not understand how this could be policed following the government guidelines with all the tables being taken by family and friends at one party, and in our opinion was unworkable.
As soon as the Government changed the guidelines my daughter cancelled the room allowing the club to release that booking date for anyone else who found the situation workable

Have been to the club many times and seen some great artists; Franki Valli; King vs Queen; Ricky Aaron; Motown Shows etc. Have always had a great night; however there... read more are always people who take their glasses / drinks onto the dance floor during the disco times even when it's crowded. It happens all the time, but the DJ / management do nothing about it. A quick mention over the microphone during the night may be good idea (?). The latest was on Saturday 02/06/18 when (2) male clowns decided to continue to go onto the dancefloor with their glasses - and they were not kids, probably in their 40's.
Another gripe is that there is a queuing system at the bar but no sign to say where to queue from. If people don't know about this they tend to move straight to the front of the queue. Sometimes they are told about the queuing by the barstaff, but sometimes not which can cause a bit of arguing. A simple sign at the bar would let people know of the etiquette required. Having said all this, I will be back in a couple of weeks time.

Absolutely disgusted at the Liverpool Naval Club. Apparently 230 tickets sold yet we arrived at 7.45pm to no seats and only 175 people in the venue. (Stats told to me... read more by the staff). We complained requested a refund and were told that there was no management on site who could authorise that. What an utter joke someone has to be responsible for a packed out venue!! We ended up stuck in the corner sat in a single straight line so couldn't talk to anyone and god help us if someone wanted the toilet that was literally a military manoeuvre! I couldn't even see the stage as I was hidden down steps with a wooden seat back in front of me. We often frequent this place as a family and have enjoyed the venue bit they really let us down on NYE and nobody seemed
to give a damn.
We ended up leaving whilst they served the buffet as our night was ruined.
When this venue is struggling in quieter months then dont count on me or my family to attend to support you like we've often done in the past. I'm not one to complain or write bad reviews but felt I had to do so on this occasion
Shame on you Liverpool Naval Club you ruined the last night of the year and decade.
